People book a regular cleaning, get a good result, and still feel like something is off. Usually it is because the home needed a deep clean and got a maintenance visit instead. The two are priced differently because they are genuinely different jobs, and knowing which is which saves you money.
A regular cleaning maintains a home that is already clean underneath. Surfaces get wiped, floors get vacuumed and mopped, kitchens and bathrooms get cleaned and sanitized, beds get made, trash goes out. It is the visit you book every week or two to hold a standard that already exists.
A deep clean creates that standard. It goes inside the oven and the fridge, behind the appliances, along every baseboard and door frame, into the grout, up to the ceiling fans and vents, and through the window tracks. It takes two to three times as long as a maintenance visit, which is why it costs more.
Here is the simple test. Run a finger along the top of a door frame and look at the baseboard behind your bed. If either surprises you, or if nobody has cleaned inside the oven in more than a year, you want the deep clean first. If both look fine and you just want the house to stay that way, regular service is the right call.
The most economical pattern for most homes is one deep clean to reset the space, then recurring visits to hold it. That is why our second cleaning is 10% off: the first visit does the heavy work, and the ones after it stay affordable.
